What's the difference between Cold Brew and Cold Drip Coffee?

As the name suggests, these 2 methods uses cold water to extract coffee and because the water temperature is lower it’s going to take a much longer time to extract.

So what's the point you might ask? Well, cold brewed coffee takes a lot of time to extract, even up to 24 hours. And in that time, cold water gently extracts the coffee, leaving a cup of coffee that can be described in one simple word: smooth! The acidity of coffee becomes mellower, the sweetness more intense, usually producing a perfectly balanced cup. But it takes a long time to prepare.

There are two most common ways for cold extraction. One is cold brew coffee, the second cold drip. While they both use cold water for extraction, the mechanics are different!
